Phil caught the magic bug as a boy and has been entertaining people professionally part-time since 2009.  He specialises in close-up magic – which happens right under your nose.  He is most at home performing strolling magic at formal dinners, wedding breakfasts or indeed any setting where you wish to add a little magic.

In recent years he has developed magic appropriate for a cabaret/stage setting and can offer a stage show of 15-45 minutes depending upon your requirements.

Over the years Phil has performed in a variety of venues – from the Officers Mess at Deepcut Army Barracks (for their black tie Christmas dinner) to an Old Time Music Hall fundraiser for Farnham Assist. His magic includes mind-reading and sleight of hand – but the focus is always on entertainment.

Phil has won several awards over the years, including the Weller Trophy (twice, for most entertaining close up act), the Hinsley Hand Trophy (for most entertaining card trick) and the Harry Kaye Cup (for the best stage act).  Until recently he also ran a website aimed at professional magicians called bicycle-cards.co.uk.
